Engaging the Blogosphere

Up until now, we have been blogging on a very slow-paced random basis. This has made things pretty humdrum, and it’s not really serving the purpose we had intended for the blog, which was to take all of you along for the ride on our adventures through life and homeschooling. Well, we put our heads together, and decided that in order to better accomplish our goal, we need to get things a little more organized in our tiny part of the blogosphere. So here’s the new, improved plan:

Starting next week, I will post something every Monday, if at all possible. This “Mamma’s Minute” will cover a large number of topics, ranging from family and homeschool events to parenting, to devotionals. It will keep you up to date on where we are at physically, mentally, and spiritually.

At least 2 Fridays a month, something will be posted by one of the boys. They are working on some videos, as well as articles, to entertain and inform. Rooster and Bird are even exploring the possibility of each doing a series of videos. I’m very excited about all of their ideas!

As always, we encourage you to comment. The boys are all very encouraged by your feedback, and it gives them a little extra boost to strive for excellence in this area.

Also, if any of you can think of a topic that you would like one or all the boys to do an article or video about for you, please feel free to make suggestions! We want this to be as fun as possible, and we would love to have you all participate. So, grandma’s and grandpa’s, aunts and uncles, put on your thinking caps and send us your ideas!

  1. I can't wait to see what you all have cooking! Count me in as someone who's excited to see what you have to talk about and show us. :) Lots of love to all the Burks!
